Coming from your fellow student who is currently in this class, I have developed a list of tips below that can help you excel in Intro to Business:
1. Get things done early. Don't wait until the last minute to post your discussion answers as well as taking the quizzes. If the assignment is submitted early, there will be a chance for you to correct mistakes in your posts until the due date to get credit. Note that you are allowed two mistakes per post without penalty. Also, waiting until the last minute to take the quiz will not benefit you. Any questions that you may have about the quiz may not be answered if you wait until the last minute to do it.
2. Check D2L at least 3 times a week. If you can, check D2L everyday. The quizzes, discussion posts and all other announcements will be posted on D2L. You cannot pass the class without D2L as all work is submitted through it. To post an answer to a discussion, click the discussion tab and choose the appropriate chapter where you would like to post your answer. Remember to proofread your work!
3. Attendance is important. Not only that, but being on time is just as important. Make sure you show up for class and be ready to learn at least 3 minutes before class starts. Tardiness shows lack of responsibility.
